HISTORY
Gulf States Automation was founded in the early 1990s with a vision to provide reliable, high-quality building automation, energy management, and controls solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout Lower Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. From the beginning, the company has been built around integrity, technical expertise, dependable service, and a commitment to helping customers operate their facilities more effectively.
As building technology advanced, GSA recognized the need for a more powerful and scalable building automation platform. In 2005, the company partnered with Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) and adopted the WebCTRL family of products, an industry-leading platform designed to deliver smarter, more efficient, and more connected building automation solutions.
That partnership marked an important step in GSA’s growth. Over time, the company expanded its customer base, technical capabilities, and service territory, now supporting facilities throughout Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
